What is a Virtual PBX / IPPBX?

The IPPBX (also called a Virtual PBX or Hosted PBX) is at the very core of what Voyced offers.
It’s a modern, software-based business phone system that runs in the cloud instead of in your office, giving you more flexibility, better control, and lower costs, all without compromising on quality.

Unlike older and more traditional systems, our Hosted IPPBX is fully online and built for professional use. It connects your phones, softphones, or devices to the outside world, handling incoming and outgoing calls over high-quality, premium VoIP routes.

But the Hosted IPPBX is much more than just a technical system.

It’s also your live online management interface, where you can:

  • View and manage your phone numbers (DIDs)

  • Set up call flows, voicemails, ring groups, and more

  • Check call history, usage, and make live adjustments

All of this is designed to be easy to use, yet powerful enough for businesses of any size.

Important to note:

The Hosted IPPBX is completely separate from the Clientarea (your administrative account interface).

This separation is intentional, and essential, to ensure maximum security, speed, and stability.
The Clientarea is where you manage invoices, orders, contact details, and account administration.
The Hosted IPPBX is where your live telephony services are managed.
Each system has its own login, and each is optimised for its specific role.

And as with everything Voyced offers, you’re not alone, we’re here to help.
Whether it’s for one number or a full office setup, we support:

  • Global calling (A–Z termination)

  • Inbound numbers in over 165+ countries

  • Call centre solutions, reseller accounts, and more

The Voyced Hosted IPPBX is built for serious business, but designed to be flexible, simple to use, and incredibly reliable.
