6. Check if your Internet connection is plugged in to the right network socket on your phone.

Most IP Phones have 2 network ports:

  • LAN or INTERNET: to connect the phone to your Internet connection
  • PC or COMPUTER: to connect your computer to, after the signal has gone through the phone

You won't be able to make calls if, by mistake, the network cable from your modem/router has been plugged into the PC or Computer socket.
Switch the cable to the correct socket, start the phone up again and test.
