6. Check if your Internet connection is plugged in to the right network socket on your phone.

6. Check if Your Internet Cable Is Plugged Into the Correct Port on Your Phone

Most IP phones have two network ports:

  • LAN or INTERNET – This is where the cable from your modem or router should go.

  • PC or COMPUTER – This is only to connect your computer, after the phone has received the internet signal.

If the internet cable is accidentally plugged into the PC/Computer port, your phone won’t be able to connect — and you won’t be able to make or receive calls.

✅ What to do:

  1. Check the back of your phone.

  2. Make sure the cable from your modem/router is in the LAN/INTERNET port.

  3. Restart the phone.

  4. Test to see if the problem is resolved.
