What do I need to put in the .txt file that is requested?

Why this file is needed

To activate certain telephone numbers, especially in countries with strict telecom rules, we need to verify your details. This is required to comply with local regulations and to prove ownership or legal usage rights for the number.

You may be asked to upload a .txt file as part of the verification process.

This file must include accurate and matching information, especially when:

  • A local address in the correct area code is required

  • Details must align with your company registration

  • The contact person must be verified using ID documentation

What to include in the .txt file

Please create a simple text file (.txt) with the following structure:
(if your details are not in English, please add a full set of the same details in English in that file as well)

The following details must match the company registration and proof of address:

Company:
Company registration number:
Street 1:
Street 2:
City:
Postcode:
Province/State:
Country:
Tel:
Company email:
VAT number:

The following details must match the double-signed copy of the ID of the authorised contact person:

Contact person:
Contact tel:
Contact email:

Make sure all fields are completed accurately, using the same names and details as shown on your official documents.

Incorrect or mismatched data will delay the verification process.

Tips for faster approval

  • If a local address is required, double-check that it matches the area code of the number you’re ordering

  • Ensure your company name, registration number, and address match your business documents exactly

  • The contact person listed must be the same individual whose ID is included in the verification

  • Save and upload the .txt file as requested during the ordering or verification process

Not sure what to include or how to format your details?
Send us a draft, we’ll review and help you get it right.
