Is inbound traffic on Standard DIDs/Telephone numbers free?

Yes, for most Standard telephone numbers, inbound calls are included at no extra cost, unless specifically stated otherwise.

That said, we do have a Fair Use Policy in place to help prevent misuse and ensure all clients enjoy reliable service.

This policy is designed to maintain a healthy balance between incoming and outgoing call volumes, based on normal business use. We monitor this across similar clients in our client base to define what’s fair and expected.

If we see consistent patterns of unusually high inbound-only traffic, without matching outbound usage, we may reach out to discuss the setup and recommend alternatives (such as Inbound Only numbers, which are built for inbound traffic specifically).

This policy helps us keep costs down, quality high, and services fair for everyone. But don’t worry, if you’re running a typical business phone setup, this won’t affect you at all.

If you’re unsure about what applies to your setup or have questions, feel free to get in touch, we’re always here to help.
