Can I choose a ETR DID / telephone number or range of numbers?

We often get asked whether it’s possible to choose a specific or ETR (Easy-to-Remember) number or a range of DIDs.

Here’s what you need to know:

Random assignment is standard

In most countries, local regulators no longer allow manual selection of specific numbers or blocks. This is mainly because choosing individual numbers from within a block can make the rest of that block unusable, creating unnecessary waste of numbering resources.
So, when you place an order, our system automatically allocates the next available, 'best' number in the chosen region.

What if I really want a specific number?

If vanity or ETR numbers are available in your requested country/region, we will provide a shortlist of 1 to 3 attractive options to choose from. However, please note:

  • Vanity or ETR numbers require manual provisioning

  • There is an additional admin fee of approximately £79 per number, on top of the standard number cost

Because we don’t hold a large pre-allocated pool of numbers in all countries (in which case we source them freshly per order), availability is limited and varies by country.

Need a full range of numbers?

In some countries, ordering a full range or block of DIDs is possible, but this may also incur additional costs. These vary depending on:

  • The country and local region

  • The number of DIDs in the requested range

Interested? Let’s explore the options together

If you’d like to look into getting a vanity number or a DID range, just let us know:

  • Which country and region

  • How many numbers you're looking for

  • Whether you have any preferred number format or pattern

We’ll check the options and get back to you with what’s possible.
