Yes, the Voyced platform does support encryption, giving you extra security for your VoIP traffic.
What’s available?
-
SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol)
This is supported by default. SRTP encrypts the audio (media) stream of your calls, helping protect against eavesdropping and tampering. -
TLS (Transport Layer Security)
TLS encrypts the signalling part of the call (how the call is set up).
If you’d like to use TLS, just contact us, we’ll enable it for your account and help with setup if needed.
What about ZRTP?
At the moment, ZRTP (media-level encryption negotiated directly between endpoints) is not supported on the Voyced platform.
That said, we’re working on adding it and plan to support it as soon as possible.
If you’re unsure which encryption method is right for your setup or want to activate TLS, feel free to get in touch, we’re happy to help.
