What is the difference between Local/Geographic telephone numbers and National telephone numbers?
National DIDs are similar to the local DIDs in their use.
They may be charged at a higher rate depending on the customer's operator but they usually are not.
National numbers, like mobile numbers, are not restricted to a particular city/area.
Please note:
National type DID(s) may not be reachable from international sources. This can be due to intermediary carriers on the international call leg or local carriers abroad choosing not to or not being able to route the call, often for billing reasons.
