Plan before setting up your IVR / Auto-Attendant

How to set up a good and clear IVR/Auto Attendant solution?

We would wholeheartedly recommend that you do not start setting up your IVR without first creating a proper and clear Flow Chart.

This will visualise the options you want and need and how they should be connected.
It should also make sure you do not forget anything.

You will be able to verify the whole Flow with any other people involved, like management or implementation specialists, and get approval before you start and possibly have to make changes again.
It's easy to get lost in a tree if you do not know what branches are there/where.

If you do not have a Flowcharting program already we can recommend using the following free, online tool as it is easy and flexible in its use:
Draw.io

I
f at any point you run into issues or get lost and need our help, please send us the Flowchart too so that we have a visual reference of what you are trying to achieve.
This will make any type of process troubleshooting much quicker and easier.
