Standard DID/Telephone number & Elastic Pool solutions
Local DID Registration, Restrictions and Limitations:
- Company name, the name of authorised company representative and contact phone numbers
- Your Company registration certificate
- Italian VAT/Tax ID
- Current Address in the ordered DID's country (must be from the same telephone code area as the DID ordered)
- Proof of that address (a copy of utility bill no older than 6 months and/or bank statement with the correct name and address on it, you may blank out the financials)
- Copy of Passport (all relevant pages if more than 1) or National ID card (both sides) of an authorised company representative
Mobile VoIP numbers solutions
Mobile VoIP DID Registration, Restrictions and Limitations:
- No additional requirements, apart from our standard Customer Verification, are needed at this time.
TollFree/Freephone solutions
TollFree DID Registration, Restrictions and Limitations:
- No additional requirements, apart from our standard Customer Verification, are needed at this time.
Universal International FreePhone number (UIFN) solutions
UIFN DID Registration, Restrictions and Limitations:
This will often be the same as for TollFree/FreePhone DID registration.
If other information is needed this will be indicated in the Quote.
Voyced Internal number solutions
Voyced Internal DIDs, Restrictions and Limitations:
In all normal circumstances, there are no extra requirements apart from the standard Client Verification requirement that you have when you sign up to become a client with Voyced.
Important update:
In case you provide Call-Center activities, directly or indirectly, please be informed about the following update based on the Italian regulatory agency latest changes:
Starting from January 1, 2017, it is mandated to inform the calling customer about the location of the Call-Center operator who is answering (agent).
In case the agent is located in an extra-EU Country, it must be possible for the customer's call to be immediately forwarded to another Call-Center located within the European Community.
Penalties for non-compliance with this law are huge, 150.000 EUR in case of missing or late communication to the Call-Centers and 50.000 EUR to the Call-Center who is not compliant.
Voyced or our partners are not responsible for this and will redirect these fines according to our Terms and Conditions.
Further information on this topic:
- All Call-Centers must now also register with the Italian ministry before offering Call-Center services.
Customer support lines are also seen as Call-Centers.
Please do note that this should be done before starting services. - All types of number-sorts are involved, so PRS, Toll-Free, Geographic and National DIDs, etc.
There is no exception for any number-sort. - This rule applies to both outbound And inbound traffic.
- If a number is for call centre activities, please note this Regulator’s rule: It is compulsory to inform the calling customer about the location of the call centre operator who is answering (agent).
- When announcing the location of the activities, mentioning the country is enough (for example Morocco, the Netherlands, etc).
- The information must be mentioned in the call itself, not just on a website.
