End Date: Saturday, 9th November 2019, 06:00 PM (BST) or much earlier if all goes well
Status Report: Service Status
Description:
We're using a maintenance window on the indicated Saturday to roll out some major new functionality and security-related options.
At this time, our website and Clientarea are being prepared and will be undergoing maintenance and updates of its core as we move to a new version of our general, public website.
This will help us to get our security to an even higher level, iron out some issues that we found along the way, and to the site ready for the possibility to add new functionality in the future much more easily.
As most of this will be 'under the hood' work you may or may not see any changes on the public side of things, but it should help us solve some long-standing issues now and give us more secure, stable and flexible options for the (near) future.
This means that only the general website, Clientarea and related services won't always be available.
All other (Hosted) services and all VoIP telephony services will continue to work as usual.
We will do our utmost to keep the downtime to a minimum.
Our email and telephony will work and of course, our Hosted IPPBX is unaffected by this so all VoIP traffic will go through and continue to receive and terminate all calls as expected.

Update 01/10/2019:
In our preparations for this upgrade/update we have found that there may be an issue with 1 or 2 important, external functions.
We have tried to get these possible issues tackled and they may not even happen but we have decided that they are too important to take a risk with.
Therefore, we have moved the maintenance window to next week so we have a little more time to make sure no unexpected issues will arise from this.
Update 09/10/2019:
We have done most of the work but a few things needed some extra attention.
We will be finishing these last few things on Monday the 11th of November at 8 AM BST/9 AM CET.
A reboot may be needed but we expect any downtime to be kept to a minimum.
Update 11/10/2019:
We have done all we wanted and the site and Clietarea are now running on new and 4x more powerful hardware to keep up with demand and the ever-growing number of clients.
There are a few background processes that need to be updated still but they should not affect the online presence or you anymore.
